My pal Kyle is telling me I need to draw more dudes. So I am.

Here’s a mohawk guy. He’s sporting a Fanned Mohawk. For this guy, and this particular style of Mohawk, I referenced a hairstyle page that broke down the different types of Mohawks. He of course is referenced from the fanned mohawk but with less angry face.

Marker paper, pencil, and Prismacolor Markers with some stuffins in Photoshop. My scanner sucks now because it takes me about 4 tries to scan stuff and it goes ‘hey i’mma scan his arm but not his face! booyah!’ and I’m all like ‘come on, scanner— I totally selected the whole image for you to scan! WTF!’

And for the story of this character

Stewart (you can call him Stu) spends almost as much time styling his hair, as his kid sister spends on her hairdo. That’s alright, because he’s excited to get to get to his classes where he’s studying theater. Mostly interested in technical work, he hopes to design the lighting for the department’s upcoming production. His friends enjoy his easy-going nature, and the theater instructors are glad to have him in class. Stu likes to play computer games in his spare time, but admits his sister has beaten him a fair share of times in PVP. He grills a mean burger, and likes to blog about the random toppings he puts on sandwiches.
