here’s the basic information concerning prices and rules for general commissions:

like the work i do? i do sometimes take commissions for cartoon pictures! all the finished products are digital (unless you specify you want a pencil sketch instead of photoshop color).

price list:

single character, full color: $50
*add additional character at base price of $50
*add 2 or more additional characters— inquire for price

specify: full body pose, half body pose or bust

*price includes a simple background

how much does it cost to commission you?

a single character, full color, with a simple background is $50. one additional character is an additional $50. if you need more characters in one image, please inquire for price.

what kind of commissions are you taking?

currently, all commissions are digital unless otherwise specified. every once in a while, i will offer a special commission of a particular type for a special price (such as pencil sketch, marker color sketch and so on). those will be specially announced on my tumblr or at the top of this faq page.

if you are looking for something like a con badge, please send me a note or email. i am unable to laminate badges but i will provide you with a high resolution image sized so you can take it to a print shop and get it printed and laminated.

if you want a specific style, please inform me of such. it’s awesome if you provide examples/links for me so i can determine if i can provide you with what you are looking for.

how long will it take for you to complete my commission?

in most cases, i’m able to complete a commission within a week or two. this all depends on my schedule. odds are though, it will be less than a week.

if you need a commission in a specific time period, such as for a gift— please inform me in advance.

if it is indeed a gift and should be kept un-posted in my gallery until a particular date, do let me know in advance as well so we don’t spoil the surprise.


what do i get for the price?

while i sketch out work in pencil, all finished work is digital and you will receive a digital file of the work, at a reasonably high resolution. this is done so you may get a print of the work for your own personal use so you can frame and enjoy it. if you need a specific size (such as 14” x 17” ) let me know in advance. if you are getting a traditional commission from me (drawing, sketch, painting, marker, etc.) then we can discuss means of delivery. shipping, packing, and insurance of any traditional work is not included in the price.

may i see a sketch before you ink/color?

of course! if you would like to commission me and let me run with it, let me know— but if you would like to commission me and see a sketch before i go too far with the piece, please also let me know. i won’t begin work until payment has been made. minor changes (add costume parts, props, alter hair slightly and such) will be allowed twice before an additional charge is incurred. if a complete redraw/sketch is required, it is allowed once only in sketch stage. after that, it’s an additional fee based on the complexity of the redraw.


are there any limitations?

your commission is yours to enjoy. you may use it for forum icons (i can actually size it for you—no charge!) as well as for your personal desktop wallpaper and such. if you need it sized for a specific purpose, let me know and i’ll see what i can do! i love taking artwork commissions and creating wallpapers and such from it.

as for limitations, you may not alter and/or sell the artwork without my written permission. this includes prints. please ask me and let me know what you plan to do, and i will most likely grant you written permission for use in some degree.

you may not remove my signature(s) and you may not claim the artwork as your own. please do not repost my artwork in your own gallery/webpage without my permission (again… please ask. i’ll probably say yes!). you may not repost my work on deviantart without my permission. you may however repost it in your tumblr with a link back to my tumblr or my portfolio site.

as for subject matter, no pron, but tasteful nudity okay—
i reserve the right to request another option if i deem the current request to be a little too intense/labor intensive for me to complete in a reasonable amount of time, but do ask! it never hurts to ask me if it’s possible! please respect my right to reject a commission of particular subject matter or style if i feel i am unable to deliver what you would like to your satisfaction. i can draw in a lot of styles, but do ask if you’re looking for something similar to something else.

if you’re looking into a large commission, or commissioning me for several pieces, please inquire by email or my ask box/deviantart note, as more complex and labor intensive pieces will take more time, and cost more money.

if you are looking to commission me for commercial purposes, i reserve the right to base prices on the intended use and possible re-use of my artwork. please inquire with me concerning commissions for commercial usage.
